Vanessa has 21 years experience working as a clinical dietitian in the community, hospitals and private practice. Since graduating with a Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics from The University of Sydney in 2000, Vanessa has lived and worked in Australia, throughout the United Kingdom, Bangalore and Mumbai in India and has worked in private practice in Singapore for the past 11 years.

Vanessa has 21 years experience working as a clinical dietitian in the community, hospitals and private practice. Since graduating with a Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics from The University of Sydney in 2000, Vanessa has lived and worked in Australia, throughout the United Kingdom, Bangalore and Mumbai in India and has worked in private practice in Singapore for the past 11 years.
In her private practice, The Travelling Dietitian, Vanessa works predominantly with infants, toddlers and children. She has a special interest in fussy eaters, helping those with sensory and other feeding problems to improve their relationship with food. She is trained in Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Therapy and the SOS Approach to Feeding. She also advises and supports children and their families with food allergies and collaborates with allergists in both inpatient and outpatient oral food challenges and peanut immunotherapy programmes.
Vanessa is on the Executive Committee of the Asthma and Allergy Association (AAA) of Singapore and is the Chairperson of the Private Practice Interest Group of the Singapore Nutrition and Dietetics Association (SNDA).
She has two young children of her own who help her to understand the challenges involved with feeding children and who are gradually starting to love their food as much as she does!
