Our Helpers First Aid & Newborn Care Course runs over 2 weeks and provides peace of mind by equipping your helper with the essential knowledge to handle a variety of situations with confidence.

FAQs

We recommend your helper attends the course as close to your due date that feels comfortable for you. Otherwise soon after baby arrives is also a great time. For those only attending the first aid class, anytime is fine to send them 

It is advisable to wear loose fitting and comfortable clothing. We do a lot of practical work (getting up and down from the floor and putting each other into the side lying recovery position) so shorts or trousers would probably be the best option

Led by our experienced instructors who are accredited by the Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC) this First Aid course provides all the expert knowledge but is not a Singapore certified or subsidised course. Your helper will receive a certificate of attendance which will include the topics covered.

Yes. We find that helpers tend to open up more with questions, and are less intimidated to show off their newly learnt skills when they are in an environment without their boss! However, we will ask you before the course if there is anything specific you’d like us to cover.
