Privacy Policy - Beloved Bumps Pte. Ltd.

Effective: 9 July 2026

BELOVED BUMPS PTE. LTD. (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the http://belovedbumps.sg/ website (the “Service”).

This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

We use your data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, accessible from http://belovedbumps.sg/

1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of services provided by Beloved Bumps Pte. Ltd. (“Beloved Bumps,” “we,” “us,” “our”), a Singapore-based perinatal education and community service.

Our services fall into two categories, and different parts of these Terms apply to each:

A. General Education Services — prenatal courses, postnatal workshops, coffee mornings, play groups, and community classes. These are group-based, educational in nature, and do not involve an individualised assessment of your personal health circumstances.

B. Individualised Care Services — midwife home visits and one-to-one lactation support. These involve direct, personalised interaction with a care co-ordinator based on your specific circumstances.

By booking any service, submitting a form through our booking system, or messaging us via WhatsApp, you agree to these Terms.

2. Nature of Services

General Education Services are intended to provide evidence-based information and community support. They are not a substitute for individual medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and should not be relied on as such.

Individualised Care Services are delivered by internationally qualified midwives and lactation practitioners and are tailored to your personal circumstances. While delivered with professional care and skill, Beloved Bumps is not a licensed healthcare institution in Singapore, and these services do not replace ongoing care from your obstetrician, gynaecologist, or the hospital/clinic managing your pregnancy or postnatal care.

All practical instruction in physical techniques (including CPR and first aid components of our courses) is conducted using mannequins and training equipment only, and does not constitute hands-on clinical treatment.

3. Eligibility

3. Eligibility

Our services are intended for adults (18 years and older) and their children where a class is specifically designed for family or infant participation (e.g. Play Group, Mothers Group). Where you bring a child to a class, you remain responsible for their supervision at all times.

If you have a medical condition or pregnancy complication that may affect your safe participation in a physical class (e.g. Active Birth Workshop), please inform us before booking so we can advise whether the class is appropriate for you.

4. Bookings and Payments

Bookings are made through our online booking system (Acuity Scheduling) or directly via WhatsApp or email. Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. General Cancellation & Refunds

We understand that pregnancy and early parenthood are unpredictable. Our general cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Less than 48 hours before the session: no refund, but we will make reasonable efforts to offer rescheduling where availability allows.

  • Medical emergencies, hospitalisation, pregnancy loss, or preterm birth: full refund or credit, regardless of notice period, on request.

Where we cancel or reschedule a session (e.g. due to instructor illness or insufficient enrolment), you will be offered a full refund or a place in an alternative session at no additional cost.

Please refer to our full refund and cancellation policy for class & workshop specific information.

6. Health, Safety & Physical Participation

Some of our classes involve physical activity, movement, and positioning (for example, Active Birth Workshops and practical first aid components). You participate in these activities based on your own assessment of your physical capability, and are encouraged to move at your own pace and inform your instructor of any discomfort.

For loss or damage other than death or personal injury, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant service, to the extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

In the event of illness outbreak, venue unavailability, or similar circumstances, we may deliver a session virtually instead of in person. If a virtual format is not suitable for you (for example, a hands-on practical session), please let us know and we will offer a refund or alternative arrangement rather than requiring you to attend a virtual substitute.

7. Equipment Hire

Where you hire equipment from us (e.g. TENS machine), you agree to return it in the condition provided, within the agreed hire period. If equipment is lost or damaged beyond normal wear, a replacement fee of $200 will be applied

8. Partners & Referrals

We may refer you to, or partner with, independent allied health practitioners (for example, osteopaths or other allied health providers). These practitioners operate independently of Beloved Bumps, are responsible for their own professional conduct and credentials, and any services they provide are governed by their own terms.

We take reasonable care in selecting practitioners we partner with, but a referral or partnership does not constitute a guarantee or endorsement of clinical outcome.

9. Photography and Media

We may take photographs or videos during classes and events for use in our marketing materials. We will ask for your consent at the time of booking or check-in. If you prefer not to appear in photos or videos, please let your instructor know before the session begins, and we will accommodate this.

10. Data Protection

We handle personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy, including data collected through Acuity, Google Workspace, Tally, and WhatsApp Business.

11. Terms, Law and Disputes

Change in Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
