What we cover
in 2 hours

A comprehensive, evidence-based workshop covering everything from readiness signs to allergen introduction — led by a registered dietitian alongside our IBCLC and midwife team.

The choking first aid component is hands-on and practised in the room. It is one of the most important things a parent can learn before starting solids.

When your baby is actually ready to start solids
How to set up a positive feeding environment
Purees vs baby-led weaning vs a combination approach
What to feed first, what to avoid, and how to build variety and texture over time
Continuing breastfeeding or formula alongside solids, and what weaning means for your milk supply
Allergen introduction — when, how, and what to watch for
Choking first aid — the difference between gagging and choking, and hands-on practice of what to do in both

Is this workshop for you?

Ideal if your baby is approaching 6 months and you want to feel fully prepared before you begin — or if you've already started solids and want more confidence about what comes next. Suitable for parents attending solo or as a couple. You're welcome to bring your baby, though it's not required — this is a parent education session.

Common questions

Do I need to bring my baby?
You're welcome to, but it's not required. This is a parent education session — many parents find it easier to focus without their baby in the room, and the choking first aid practice is easier too.
What age is this workshop most relevant for?
Most relevant for babies between 4–9 months, though parents with older babies who are navigating texture progression or fussy eating will find it equally valuable.
Is there a recording available?
No — the choking first aid component is hands-on and can't be replicated in a recording. Keeping it in-person and small-group is intentional.
Can two friends attend at the couple rate?
Yes — the S$200 rate applies to any two people booking together. You don't need to be a couple.
